Just a short note to state that we have now set up a facebook page.
Please DO NOT ask to book in to the show or request forms this side of Xmas, many thanks
Richard would like to announce that he has now managed to secure the date for next year’s show, 7th & 8th of July!
First I must say sorry for the delay in letting BGS know how much was raised this year for Combat Stress.
A spell of illness and other shows have slowed me down this year.
Over the two days a total of £175.61 was raised. Whilst down on last year this is still a good result and I would like to thank all who donated and supported the charity.
Richard is currently in negotiations with the Tank Museum with regards the date for next yesr’s show. The 1st or 3rd weekends in June seem the most likely … more news soon!
Battlegroup South would like to thank all those who attended our 2011 show, and annouce that we will be back next year, on a date not yet known …
We have had a number of enquiries about the cost of getting into the show. Please see The Tank Museum’s website for up to date informastion.
Richard is now making final preparations for the show and will not be able to answer emails. If anyone needs to speak to him then please call his mobile – 07714 765122
Various filled rolls, crisps, choc bars, cold cans, tea and coffee (at reasonable prices) will be available from the BGS cafe which will be situated in place of the museum cafe in the Tamiya hall – note, not the main restaurant in the new building, which will be run by the museum!
Breakfasts will be available from the onsite burger bar situated in the museum car park.
